| It has really been encouraging to see so many people around me taking a leap of faith and going on summer missions this summer. AACF has truly lived up to sending those who are willing to spread the love of God to those around the world. I hope all of you will pray with me for those going to East Asia, Hawaii, the Bay Area, Japan, and everywhere else.
Also, if you would like to support me in anyway for my summer project to Japan, please feel free to contact me so that I may send you a support letter. I'm excited to see how God will stretch my faith and use me this summer!
Be joyful always, pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances,
for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." --1Thess 5:16-18

| Today was my last first day of classes. I know Im a senior and that I will be graduating soon, but it hasnt hit me yet. Over the summer, I started to panick about how Im going to plan out all my one-on-ones, classes, small groups, and various other things, but since Ive gotten back to school it all just seemed to disappear. I know Im going to miss all the great and amazing things that Penn State has offered me, but I guess when the time gets close, thats when it will really hit. I know I cant have the perfect senior year so Im not going to expect that, but I do hope that I will make the most out of it. No more just being in my room alone, not going to hang out because Im tired, or not doing things just cause Im scared or its out of my comfort zone, etc. I want this year to be meaningful and full of time with God and the people around me. Wish me luck! | | |
| I've joined the Summer Project here. It's basically like OEX, but
in State College. We make contacts within our classrooms, work place,
and other people who we know that have not recieved Christ. Please pray
for our team. We are having a outreaching social this Thursday, so
please pray that our contacts will be coming with open hearts, that our
team may be effective, and that the God will truely work through this
social and us.
Summer session has been a real blessing. Its been amazing getting to
know people, do spontaneous things, learn and grow.I hope that the
summer will continue to be that way, whether Im spending it here in
State College or back home.
Upcoming Events/Socials
6/21: Outreach Social
6/22-23: Camping
6/24: Minado in Philly (if you are in the Philly area, come play with us!)
6/25-End of summer: Spontaneous socials, lots of
volleyball/tennis/frisbee/frisvee/frisbee golf/golf, TP, roadtrips, and
tons of other things

I have just finished my first week of summer classes. It isnt too bad
yet, but Im assuming that it is going to get a lot harder. The teacher
is mad cool and has a very dry sense of humor, but I love it. Been
searching for a job somewhere downtown. Got some applications and I
think I may have one. Once I get my discounts, I'll dish them out to
all of ya'll. Living in an apartment is not as bad as I thought it
would be. Yea, the hike to class is a little longer than if I still
lived in McElwain, but Ive got some pretty awesome roomates and
building-mates. All of us have pretty much been playing all week. Tons
of wiffle ball, a touch of basketball, a dab of Taboo, crushing Solomon
in Taboo, a day of tennis, and some other "electrifying" things.
Excited to see what else summer has in store...

| Home is amazing. Too bad I'm leaving for Penn State on Friday. Wish I could have the best of both worlds...
